“I had the KLH Model Five speakers more than fifty years ago. I had four of them, mounted on top of each other, tweeter to tweeter. Drove then with Dynaco amp and preamp. They sounded great.”

“KLH 5 is decent although the Model 3 is very close or better and is half the price. May be amplifier dependent. Very quality build. Brings me back to those AR-3a days.”

“Excellent, excellent sound. I watched a number of Youtube videos on speakers more than I care to admit, one thing stood out a couple of notable Youtubers (these guys review hundreds of pieces of gear) bought these speakers. I have them hooked up to my Marantz Model 40n and use them both for TV and music. They sound great everything from rock to classical. Oh, they arrived triple-boxed from Upscale Audio.”
