“Great quality and feel. Tried it on a 1200GR with the standard Technics mat. While it did tighten the sound, it also gave me the impression of a closed-in sound, slightly less bright but certainly to my ears less airy, overdamped kind of sense compared to without the weight. Decided to return.”

“The MoFi Super Heavyweight Noise Dissipation Record Weight is, in my opinion, a .MUST BUY accessory for owners of the MoFi UltradeckTurntable. It secures the record to the platter exceedingly well and improves the bass. By the way, it also eliminates slippage of your vinyl records on your platter when dry brushing your records. I am 100% sold on this accessory and HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!”

“Wasn’t sure I needed this but as it was designed to improve the Sonics of the MoFi Ultradeck by draining noise from record surface I thought “ that has to be a good thing, right ?” Now if quality vinyl was more plentiful at retro prices I would be all set.”
