“I am using a pair of Mullard ECC82/12AU7 new/old tubes to replace the middle tubes in the preamp section of my PrimaLuna 300 tube amplifier that drives Vienna Acoustic Beethoven Grand Reference three-way floor speakers. I found the speakers a little bright, and after about 100 hours, the Mullard tubes warmed up the highs and added a touch of better detail to the sound stage. I am very pleased with the outcome.”

“Replaced the PSVANE tubes in my PS Audio BHK Signature preamp, after they became noisy while adjusting volume. These new Mullards cleared up the noise problem immediately. I've probably run them for 100-200 hours now. I can't say I've noticed any change as they've settled in, but I can say they are at least as good as the OEM PSVANE tubes, and were from the get-go. It's hard to comare tubes because they need to warm up and run in, so a side by side is not possible. But I can tell you nothing has been lost, and my system sounds as good as ever, which is to say great. I'm using a McIntosh 452 stereo power amp, Revel Salon2 Ultima2 speakers, and a Luxman D-03 CD player/DAC, with mostly Transparent cables.”

“Thank you Upscale Audio for the great service you provided me. I have a pair of 1St generation 30 year old 450 VTL signature mono blocks, they were overdo for tube replacement. Upscale Audio was able to supply all 16 Electro Harmonix 6550 power tubes as well as the 2 12AT7 electron tubes and the 2 Millard ECC82 Vintage tubes. All tubes were paired. Needless to say, my amps sound like new again. Thank you Upscale Audio for your outstanding customer service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I purchased both Brimar 12AU7 and the Mullard 12AU7 (NOS) to use in my PrimaLuna Prologue Premium pre amp. I’m using the Mullard in the primary position and the Brimar in the secondary. There was a noticeable difference in sound quality. It’s remarkable how much difference these tubes bring to the music presence.”
