“I dropped a quad of these Mullard E188CC’s into a Manley Chinook (also purchased from Upscale a few years back). The Manley is paired with an older Unison Unico (itself retubed with a pair of Brimar 12AU7’s from Upscale). I’m extremely pleased with the results. Thanks Kevin and Upscale. You have made this old record spinner very happy.”

“I rate this tube B+. The tonality of the vocals isn't quite as good as it is in, say, an Amperex. The lows are pleasing, but not authoritative. I don't play music with very high notes, so I'm not sure what it sounds like in the upper range.”
