“I used this tube in a my Marshall 1974x and the impact was very noticeable. It lost a little bit of the AC/DC crunch, but both Les Paul and Stratocasters sound incredible with a much more creamy distortion that is ideal for lead playing. Love the tube, fantastic service and fast shipping from Upscale Audio.”

“Bought a Kevin's stash NOS CV4004 to use on my headphone amp to drive HD660S and HD800S. Order shipped on the same morning and came in on 2nd day morning. Still in process to break in but Mamma Mia ! Listening to Ophélie Gaillard's RV531 in the Vivaldi I colori dell'ombra played with her Francesco Goffriller cello instantly brought me to tears... What a sophisticated sound and so much to digest replay after replay. All harsh non-sense highs are gone and replaced by deeply emotional notes with airy extensions. Lows are so juicy even on Sennheisers. Mids,..,oh Mids..... Thank you Kevin and Upscaleaudio for enriching my life. Magnificent....”
