“One of the tubes experienced a filament flare-up after 10 hours of use. While I was advised by company staff this wasn't an issue, I didn't like the look of it as none of my other tubes ever did this. I also noticed that my power meters fluctuated at start up using these tubes (which didn't seem right). I replaced them with a matched set of Mullard-made 6060 blackplate 12AT7 type tubes designed for Zaerix.”

“Work very well in a Carver 275 as support tubes to an Amperex 12AX7 input tube. Quiet, a bit warmer and richer sounding than the Mullard 6201. Depending on your application both are excellent tubes.”
