“I have ordered 12ax7 and 12au7 tubes in the past from Upscale Audio. I recently received a Willsenton R8 integrated amplifier so I decided to replace the stock KT88 tubes that came with the amp with four Mullard EL34 matched tubes from Kevin Deal. The tubes arrived in three days perfectly packed and wonderfully matched. I did order three Electro-Harmonix 6sn7 preamp tunes a few days later. Always happy with Upscale Audio and their great products and service.”

“I’ve always had good luck with the durability and sound of the EH EL34 and have run them in my amps for the last ten years. Recently they were out of stock so I tried the Mullard reissues. The Mullard is a shockingly different sounding tube, in a good way.”

“I’m pretty new to tubes, but , I think the tubes that came w/primaluna 200 sound warmer, a little more highs w/mullard. I like the primaluna tube a little better. The mullard sounds good as well, just a little brighter.”
