The tubes are “just what the doctor ordered”. The quad arrived safely, was installed and given a thirty minute warm up. Biased and are now well burned in. Absolutely satisfied, You did what you said you would do. I will shop with you when possible in the future. Thanks.

I was disappointed with the sound quality of these tubes. Very soft sounding and lacking dynamics. I would not recommend them. Gold Lion KT77, KT88's and RAM EL34's are significantly better than the Mullard reissues.

Great service and fast shipping. Upscale's testing and burn in process ensures a good quality replacement for those hard to find and very expensive original Mullard EL34's.

These tubes really brought out details in music that I’ve been missing. Also the low end is so smooth just how you expect it to be. My PrimaLuna has opened up! I couldn’t get the PrimaLuna EL34, but these are great....

Nice sounding tubes in my Quicksilver mid monos. Still breaking in but I imagine they will get better with age.

The Mullard EL34 tubes I purchased from Upscale Audio are working very nicely in my Modified Dynaco ST70 amplifier. Thanks Upscale!

The Mullard EL34s were purchased for a change a pace in for my PrimaLuna Prologue 5. The EL34s rolled with or behind the Mullard KT88s. As of the time of this review the Mullard EL34s have +/- 60 to 75 hours. Driving a pair of Klipsch Forte IIIs that are only about 4 months old the do an excellent job. I'm not sure if its fair to compare the EL34 to the KT88 but I will say this the KT88s drive the Forte IIIs in a very "very" similar way in sound quality, presence, sound stage, and dynamics as I get from a Marantz 2270 which is the pre-amp for the PL. In contrast, the EL34s are more delicate in their tonality overall. The EL34 do have the goods when provided the motivation from the volume knob. At low level listening the EL34 to my ears sound wonderful. They're the daily driver since their arrival.

I've only been playing my PL Evo 100 int/amp for about 8 hours with these new Mullard EL34's, but can already tell I like them very much. I loved the stock PL tubes, but even though I've had the Evo 100 for about 11 months, I've put many hours on the tubes, and would guess about 5000 hrs believe it or not. I was thinking it might be getting close to me needing a fresh set of tubes. I already got a full set of Gold Lion for the front four slots, and I got a full set of Mullard for the front four slots. I thought I'd try some new power tubes, and since Kevin recommends Mullard for replacement of the stock tubes, I figured I'd try it out. The stock PL tubes are great though, and are very lively, with that edge of your seat sound. These reissue Mullards are more laid back, but with great soundstage and dynamics, just mellowed out some. I'm running these Mullard EL34's with the Mullard 12au7's and 12ax7's in the front slots, and am loving the sound I'm getting. I was thinking about trying the Tung-Sol EL34b power tubes, but I'm liking this Mullard sound so much, I may just stick with what I've got.
