Fantastic rectifiers. The slow warm up time is nice. I look forward to buying another pair.

dear uncle kev, the tube delivers! i am using this with a bob latino stereo 120, driving a pair of restored and optimized acoustic research ar 3a speakers. these speakers are horribly inefficient and need all the power they can get. i get the sense that they are now happy. the tube stays!!

Decided to include this in a recent Upscale Audio purchase to replace a Sovtek 5AR4 I've had for some time, (but still tests very good), after reading that Sovtek is more an entry level brand. Didn't really expect any sonic change since the music signal isn't passed through a rectifier, but the Mullard tightened up the bass and gave a sense of overall clarity in a Lance Cochrane modified Dynaco ST-70. Now I have a cool looking tube that improved the sound.

These tubes are not only beautiful but they sound great. I did plenty of research before I bought them and I agree with all those that said that I can trust Upscale Audio to deliver quality products at a reasonable price. These NOS Mullard GZ33 tube were not a necessity as cheaper tubes worked in my amplifiers, but I wanted something better than "they work" and these tubes delivered.
