“An excellent tube, long recognized as one of the premier tubes ever made. The 12AX7 triodetube I bought was from "Kevin's Stash" and its' test results were "perfect". And yes, if you want the best, the "Stash" tubes are well worth the slight additional cost.”

“One of the 4 tubes would not hold bias. I confirmed it by swapping places and eventually installed an identical tube I already had. Upscale wanted me to return all 4 tubes and pay shipping. Not worth the time and aggravation. I bought from Upscale because of the "extensive burn-in and testing process you can't get anywhere else." I purchased the "Kevin stash" tubes so I would not have problems. I guess 3 out of 4 ain't bad. Makes you wonder if any of the hype and marketing is true......”
