“Replaced a full set of Gold Lions (8 KT88, 4 12AT7 4 12AX7) with a full set of the Mullards. The sound is similar, with some improvement in power and bass so far. I only have about 150 hrs on the new Mullards, so I expect additional improvements as time passes.”

“I purchased 12 of these to replace the JJ KT88's in a pair of Zesto Eros 300 mono amplifiers. Overall, I find the sound to be a bit richer without any loss of detail, high-frequency extension or airiness. The soundstage is noticeably deeper and images are more three-dimensional. Initially, there was a little noise from one tube when the amp was powered on, but after a couple of weeks, the noise disappeared and all tubes have worked flawlessly for 7 months. I am very pleased with these Mullard reissues and recommend them.”

This is the third Quad set of these tubes that I've purchased from Upscale and used in this amplifier over the last decade. The combination of glorious sound and reliability has been astonishing.”
