“Used in Jolida JD100 cd player. I have definitely learned that tubes do have an effect on tuning components. I have tried Gold Lions and Tung-Sols. These Mullards are the perfect match for the Jolida. I don't know why people say these are shy on the high frequencies. To me, they faithfully reproduce them. No sibilance or harshness, no smearing. Soundstage is enormous and three-dimensional. Detailed with perfect placement. Absolute black background. Couldn't be happier.”
