I enjoy listening to music most of the day, whether I’m working or paying attention only to the music. This is an incredibly reliable and easy streamer to use, and sounds great. Setup was very fast and simple. BluOS is by far the best streamer app, second only to Roon, and much faster and more dependable than Roon. I use Qobuz, SiriusXM, and several radio stations from the huge variety of sources available. If you want to futz with your digital setup, buy something else. If you want to sit down and listen to music, I know of no better choice. I love the preset buttons on the top of it—if I’m very busy and just want a little music, I just turn the amp on and hit one of the presets and the music’s on.

I would give it a 5 except for the fact I can't seem to get it to pair with Napster. Sonically it's head and shoulders better than the Sonos Connect I've been using. I must clarify that the Sonos I've been using is now almost 10 years old and I have not heard the latest streamer from Sonos. All that being said I'm very satisfied with the Bluesound Node, and, Upscale audio is a first class high end dealer. Thanks; Bob Jones

I replaced a Node 2 with the new Node, so my review is a comparison of the 2 models. I subscribe to Qobuz and Jazz radio.com and all my music source are from these 2 services. At first, the improvements in the Node vs Node 2 seemed subtle with greater clarity and definition in the midrange and highs. After a few days of listening, I also noticed a wider and deeper soundstage. Highs, especially chimes and cymbals had greater shimmer and dynamics. The Node 2 is still a great streamer, but if you enjoy listening to the latest upgrades in your equipment, the new Node is worth obtaining.
