“I purchased a used Naim Unitiqute, but the 30 watt limitation of power wasn't enough to drive my old planar speakers. It would either clip if I pushed the volume or shut down due to overheating. Not knowing what to get, I purchased the smallest Musical Fidelity integrated amp, but the pre-amp of the Unitiqute and that of the Musical Fidelity weren't getting along. I then called Upscale and spoke with a very helpful consultant who steered me to return the Integrated MF Amp and simply go with a power amp. The NAD C 268 fit the bill perfectly and even added additional wattage. This unit pairs wonderfully with the Naim sound and doesn't mask the depth that comes out of the Unitiqute's pre-amp, DAC and streamer. A perfect pair. I also appreciate that when I get to much larger more demanding speakers, I can pick up a second NAD C 268 and run the two on mono at 300 WPC. Great product which has made me a believer of the newest technologies reached with Class D Amps by NAD.”
