“I am blown away by this unit. First, be aware that this unit takes awhile to completely burn-in. I have about 90 hours on mine but it's not yet yet fully broken-in. Listening to the changes to the sound as this unit breaks-in is amazing. The sound was initially a bit thin but improved rapidly. Then, after only about 10 hours, magic started. I honestly thought that this degree of improvement could only happen with a new DAC, a new phono stage, etc, etc, etc. Plus, the sound just keeps getting better and better, more than I ever thought possible. Also, the build quality is amazing. A peek inside the unit shows excellent quality and an high count of expensive components. I definitely feel that I got my money's worth. Audioquest even nailed the cosmetics with its very cool (and expensive) faceplate and its deep black mirror finish. It looks like a polished obsidian mirror. I figure that this is a not-so-subtle analogy for the degree of sonic "blackness" that this unit provides. Highly recommended.”
