I have been through so many expensive monoblock amps (Up to 85K; most Push-Pull and Tubed), during the past 27 years. Currently I have several amps that I have very-much enjoyed, but are in storage. The reason: My (a few months ago) acquisition of the absolute best (regardless of price) monoblock tube amp for efficient speakers...Manley Neo Classic SE/PP Monoblocks. First of all, at $13K (and made locally in Chino, California), their price is so ridiculously low for such build-quality and performance, I think this must be really EvaAnna Manley's money laundering operation! -LOL! I have spent mucho additional $'s since the purchase, tube-rolling. The good news: The Manley Team's design is so good, it rewards you with even better sound (than stock) tubes! If you have an efficient speaker (mine [which also came from Upscale] is the Fyne F-1 12S - 96db), look no further!

Great sounding amp, but I do have one comment. Whomever decided to place the bias trim for SE mode on the bottom of the amp was perhaps not thinking that day? Worse the directions to carefully tip the amp over making sure it doesn't fall over to access the trim! So one has hot tubes, a volt meter, an amp tipped on its side while trying to insert a screw driver to access the trim pot, sounds like a recipe for a disaster. I made a wooden block to support the front (kind of like a jack stand) to use when adjusting this setting.
