“Sound Quality - excellent! Noise at 65dB gain - remarkably low for a tube unit and LOMC Noise at 45dB gain - exceptional with a MM V15xMR Sonic synergy with .24mV LYRA Etna SL - sublime, beautiful and well matched in my system! Sonic synergy with V15xMR not fully explored or optimized. Cartridge / TT no longer used with this "one input" OASIS system. As expected - predictably 'darker' on top at 50pF setting. Did not proceed to try higher capacitance. nit-picking: -special GL 6922 Tubes: their physical locations - as placed in circuit - are not noted on their specific tube box(es). No way to know which notated spec belongs to which tube (when removing, matching to spares; rolling). - circuit design is unusually sensitive to static discharge 'pop' / EMF. No actual live-circuit muting other than tube-power-down-standby. But still, I prefer the excellent sound and circuit simplicity. I (as recommended in the manual) take preemptive 'grounding' measures. No real problems, just noteworthy. - a second (parallel) pair of RCA outputs would be very welcome. Unit appears to have adequate output drive stage. In my case, for feeding an external EQ; itself feeding a main system preamp source input. i.e. a flat source and an eq source. Y-cords are not desirable and my main interconnects do not have the space to add (solder) additional wiring (for a hardwiremult / Y split at the male RCA.”
