“I purchased the recorded mat to provide additional height for phono carts less than 18mm in height for use on my Rega P6. Using the mat with Goldring E4 phono cart works perfectly. But I must point out Rega tables to my ears sounds best with a wee bit of angle on the tone arm. At precise parallel the playback is not as smooth as with a wee bit of rake. Roy Gandy knew exactly what he was doing when he elected to forgo VTA on his design. I highly recommend Upscale Audio as your source for HiFi equipment.”
