“I received the pathos one as a gift in January and also bought the ZU union 6 at first I really did not like the sound but after 500 hours I am very happy the other part of the system is a Rega CD play”

“I have about 700-800 hours on my new Pathos Classic Mk. III. from Upscale Audio. I am currently using Roon Nucleus with Tidal-Qobuz, a Schiit Gugnar DAC, and my KEF LS50 Meta. The sound just fills the room. spacious, depth, imaging, clarity. It is creating music that from an adjacent room, sounds so engaging, it makes you want to go sit down in front of the stereo and take it in. Really nice. Really musical. Very highly recommended.”

“As I accumulate the hours, about 300, on this beauty, everything is opening up. Soundstage, imaging and control on both the top and bottom. I have used KEF LS50 Meta, and Spendor 4/5 speakers, and both are a very enjoyable listen. The KEF's are more dynamic and forward, the Spendors more laid-back and reserved. No surprise there. A really beautiful and capable integrated. Yes, I would buy the Pathos Classic III again.”

“When I ordered this I had no idea what I was in for: the Classic One is a revelation in music reproduction. The hybrid of tube and solid state is a winner and I'm enjoying every minute of it. The build quality is clearly excellent and I love the simplicity of the controls; this integrated shows the wisdom of letting the tech translations (DAC) occur outside the amp as those technologies are evolving very fast and would become obsolete week after next. For this price, you'll be astounded at the sound. Don't be put off by the power rating of the Classic One; my speakers are rated 86db and, unless you want to really annoy your neighbors, the amp has more than adequate power to run them.”

“Excellent amp. It's so good once burned in it made me rethink my entire system. Out shined many current amp which costs more than 3 times a much. Needs time to open up. However once it does its ability to sound stage is uncanny. Highly recommend this amp and Upscale Audio. 5 stars all around.”
