“The Pathos Inpol Ear was an easy choice. It made all the headphones I auditioned through it sound great. I could have lived with any one of them driven by the InPol Ear. I ended up selecting the Utopia 2020 because of its neutrality, transparency ... sparkling highs, smooth mids and tight bass ... and overall comfort. I purchased the Pathos / Focal Utopia combination for the synergy that seemed to bring out the best of both products. (I also have a great deal of appreciation/admiration for Italian design and style ... my mains are Sonus Faber Amati's)”

“Amazing piece! I have had several headphones amplifiers over the last 17 years and I can tell you the Pathos Inpol Ear is one of the best if not the best I have ever own. I just rolled in a pair of NOS Siemmens E88CC and wow! The size of the soundstage and it 3D presentation is amazing. The amplifier is death quiet with efficient headphones like the Focal Utopia and has more then enough power to drive to perfection demanding headphones like the Susvara. This amplifier has everything finesse and iron feast power.”
