“Absolutely incredible! I feel like I can't give enough praise to both the Pathos Kratos and Upscale Audio. First, to the Kratos. I've had experiences with several other high end integrateds including the Boulder 866 and the Mark Levinson 5805 and I definitely prefer the Kratos. It has plenty of power to drive my speakers effortlessly and the tubed preamp stage gives it just a hint of sonic sweetness. On the practical side, it doesn't run extremely hot and it is whisper quiet. I can't recommend this enough. Second, to Upscale. Al was an incredible help as he listened to my unique needs and did a lot of research and follow-up to find the right fit for me. It was clear that Al wasn't trying to get me into just anything; he was truly trying to find something that would work for my situation. We don't listen in a vacuum so there isn't one 'right' choice and Al's help exemplified that. I also owe a huge thank you to Kevin Deal for his generosity that made this purchase possible. All in all, you can't go wrong with either the Pathos Kratos as your Integrated or just dealing with (pun intended) Upscale Audio for all of your hifi needs! :)”
