“The amp has exceeded my expectations! And after 100 hours of burn-in it got even sweeter! Joel B. Told me that would happen. It is the best hybrid I have heard. The mids are very clean, articulate and smooth. highs are airy but not bright. Lows are dynamic and well controlleed. I would highly recommend this beauty... Thanks again for a great demo session with the Pathos!”

“This thing is a beautiful beast! It is a breeze to set up, with simplified controls and the sound grows more inviting with every session. I currently run a VPI TT w/ a Pathos Phono Stage, Bel Canto DAC and Transport through it. The sound and power are a serious notch above the Rotel 1572 I was using. This thing is dead quiet and has pushed each speaker combination I've thrown at it. Upscale is the best, I'm a fan!!!”

“Absolutely incredible. I loved my PrimaLuna Prologue Premium Integrated and expected this to be a modest upgrade with my ProAc Response D18s. Wow. Huge sonic improvement. I don't know how this amplifier manages to be at once more detailed AND easier to listen to with a range of music. It's like magic. Build quality and design are truly next level. Grip on the bass as well as dynamics are just right. Run this with music and movies—love it. Don't know why there aren't more folks out there singing the praises of the Logos. I was all set to buy the MA252. Very glad I didn't.”

“This is my 2nd posted review of my Pathos Logos, a long time review after 4+ months of regular use. My 1st review can be found below. The great news is that: after its braking period, all my feedbacks provided in my 1st review still stand! the Logos still provide the same sound quality that i enjoy, with refined vocals, acoustic instruments well defined and a good separation. A good sound stage too. Missing a bit is the base (bottom end is light), but this is far from a deal breaker for me. One can always add a subwoofer if he/she so desire... If there's one weakness with the Logos is the output power to drive a bit demanding speakers. When paired with the Focal Chora that i have, it is a perfect match and the Logos can drive them without breaking a sweat, and with all (and some more) the traits of characters that i have described above. However, I have recently acquired another pair of speakers, the Elipson heritage XLS15. After a long break-in period and hours of speaker positioning experiments, i have hooked them to the Logos. Quite different results than those obtained with the focals...overall, the sound is more muffled and the fantastic vocals and acoustic instrument sounds are no longer there with the Elipson. An excellent review of these speakers done on YouTube by "The Bristish Audiophile" specifies that those speakers require an amp with "beefy" power, with some juice, so to speak. And i think that's what the Logos misses...maybe the Pathos Inpol solid state model amps would pair better with these kind of power demanding speakers... Overall, i'm still very pleased stratified with the Logos and I still highly recommend it. Just make sure that it is is paired with speakers that do not demand a great amount of power, or the Logos may not be for you.”

Thanks for the detailed review, Laurent! One of the mysteries of speaker-amp pairing is that everything can look good on paper, but sometimes two products just don't get along. The Chora is actually slightly LESS sensitive than the Elipson, but there's a lot more to this, as you have found. This is why we never sell products without talking to the customer about every aspect of their system.

“I decided to upgrade my Vincent SV500 for the Pathos Classic Remix first. And the results were fantastic! not that the Vincent wasn't satisfying, be the Calssic Remix is definitely a step above at every points. Although, because my Classic Remix came in with what seemed to be a factory cosmetic blemish with the zebrawood, i was to return it and wait for a replacement. This is when i decided to Logos MKII instead, based on the recommendations form Peter. All i can say is: thank you Peter! I have been playing the Logos MKII for about two months now and I wouldn't wish for a better sound coming from my vinyl, going out to my speakers. The performance, clarity, purity of this integrated amp is fantastic! Now that i taste what an high end system can give me, i have became more demanding and I want to achieve perfection. Perhaps upgrading my beautiful Focal 816 speakers to a pair of speackers that deliver more soundstage will reveal all the potential of the Logos MKII?”
