“Let me first make two things clear. 1) These are by far, the finest cables I have ever owned. 2) I am still awaiting delivery of my HiFi Rose Streamer. The Parsecs are attached to a pair of Goldenear Triton 1.R's, being driven by a Primaluna Evo 400 Integrated. I have had this set up for nearly 2 weeks and have approximately 40-50 hours of burn-in time. As this is an entirely new kit, everything is just beginning to get its legs underneath it. The midrange is already full, life-like and we'll articulated. The treble is slowly gaining clarity and I am just beginning to hear noticeable clarity. (e.g. Definitely hearing the top hats closing & opening, cymbals rolling off naturally and can get a better sense of nylon guitar strings when they're being plucked with authority). The bass is where I am hoping to hear the sound improve. What I do know is that the Triton 1.R's have truckloads of bass. I also known that they too are getting broken in and I know it will slowly tighten up as they get their stretches in. I have very little room treatments and am also contemplating adding Isoacoustics Gaia's to the Tritons to decouple from my flooring. But before those are brought in, I want to see / hear a minimum of 200 hours on the speakers and cables. I imagine that the cables are doing just as good in the bass region as they are with the mids and upper ranges. However, with the flooring, new speakers and minimal treatments the mirkiness with the bass is not the result / by-product of the cables. I gave these a 4-star rating because I am still driving off the new car smell of the entire kit. So after I get the streamer, get it up & running and have 200+ hours on this new system, I will submit another review. My guess is it will have easily earned their 5th star.
