“Love all my PrimaLune gear; 400 tube amp, 400 tube preamp and now the EVO100 tube DAC...I wanted to try it to see if I could achieve better sounding analog from my CD player. It did exactly what i thought it would do...it processed the signal to a warmer, less harsh, full dynamic sound. It's close enough to sounding like vinyl, that it's good enough for me. Sure, I can tube roll to get it to sound different, as with all the equipment i have, but this DAC completes my key components, all being Prima Luna. THe complete system sounds superb...it makes me want to call some one to come listen to this track or that track...the DAC brings life into CD's that were somewhat lacklustre when listening just with the DAC in the CD player. I like it, I like it alot; and yes, I would purchase it again. I like the "retro" look of all PL gear...the tubes are cool...but the sound is hot!”
