“Excellent tube integrated amp, especially with my Vandersteen 1Ci. The Vandys needed a more detailed and dynamic amp along with better bass control and definition. Happy to say the Evo 100 provides just that. Exactly what I was hoping to find. This replaced a CJ cav45 s2 control amp. The CJ was very good also. It just wasn’t a good fit for the more laidback Vandersteen. The CJ offers better synergy with neutral to forward speakers, ie, Thiel, Triangle, etc. That being said, the Primaluna makes listening to music fun again. Its got the much desired PRAT that the CJ was lacking. Never listened to as much music as I have since purchasing the Evo 100. That is the best compliment I can give the Primaluna! Tio Kevin and his staff are the best. Look forward to doing additional business in the future. Thanks much!”

“I'm pushing Medicare age so my hearing isn't what it was when I started listening to "hi-end" equipment in the 70's, but am I finally where I've always wanted to be? I've been doing a slow upgrade back to 2-ch stereo after living with an above average solid state home theater system (Rotel/Triangle). Pairing the PrimaLuna EVO 100 with my Focal Electra 1008 BE2 reopened my eyes as to how marvelous a great system can sound. Bass is now tight and authoritative with highs being airy/precise and I'm not even pushing the amp very hard (10 o'clock). I gotta admit, I love the slim remote and watching the ALPS volume knob ratchet :)”
