“I have been considering the PrimaLuna tube phonostage for quite some time, comparing the unit with other equally serious phonostages--digital and analog, alike. Having both a PrimaLuna Evo 300 integrated amp and Evo 100 DAC, PrimaLuna's tube phonostage fit perfectly into the system architecture I had been building over several years. So far, vinyl reproduction is exceptional from the ClearAudio Virtuoso MM cartridge. I am looking forward to hearing the Evo 100 tube phonostage, when I upgrade to a Grado MI or a Hana MC cartridge.”

“Absolutely amazing phono stage. I replace a Sutherland Insight which is excellent and clean by the way.the Primaluna tube phono stage dramatically improved my sound stage and is very detailed. Please keep in mind that you must break it in. It took about 200 hrs for it to bloom. If you swap out tubes it will still sound good but you need to break in new tubes which is less time then breaking in the whole unit right out of the box. This is killer phono stage and worth every penny.”

“I recently upgraded to the EVO 100 from a Sutherland 20/20. The Sutherland is an awesome phono stage but I wanted to get back to tubes and man I couldn't be happier. I was looking at the Manley but when talking to Richard he brought up the Primaluna since it is all tube based at every stage. It is utterly amazing. I also upgraded my turntable but was able to spend some time with the EVO 100 and my old set up and it was a huge jump up in quality. Even with it being all tube based, it's even quieter than the solid state 20/20. You get all of the joys of tubes with a truly holographic 3d soundstage and mid-range joy with even more detail. It's damn near perfect. I do recommend leaving it on for 72 hours after you get it as it does make a profound improvement in sound quality. I will eventually do some tube rolling but even with the stock tubes it's punching way above it's price.”

“I love my PrimaLuna EVO 100 tube phonostage! The advice and service I received from Bill was above and beyond. One of my factory-installed MC tubes arrived faulty and Bill expedited the delivery of a replacement tube very quickly. I will not hesitate to purchase equipment from Upscale Audio again.”

“It's still new and breaking in, but I love it already. Nice, solid soundstage, airy high end and tight low end. A definite upgrade. I would recommend anyone looking for a phono stage to audition this.”
