“Am I enjoying my new gear? Yes! Thank you Kevin for the YouTube recommendation to pair the PrimaLuna evo 200 tube preamp with the Parasound Halo 21+ amp. Your descriptions were spot on. This is my first tube preamp and I feel like I hit the audio nirvana jackpot. Currently streaming Qobuz through Audirvana to an RME ADI-2 Pro FS R BE DAC to the PrimaLuna & Parasound driving a pair of Wharfedale Super Lintons. That DAC is a detail monster and pairing it with the PrimaLuna / Parasound just makes magic; The natural tonality, bass extension, silky sweet highs, three dimensionality and effortless dynamics all just WOW. They really show what the Wharfedales are capable of, now sounding like a completely different pair of speakers. Subbing in my Elac floor standers had the same outcome. I couldn’t be happier.”
