“This Amp is fabulous right out of the box. Even though there is the 100 hours ish breakin period it was clear on a first listen that this amp is special. As reviews of the product pointed out, there is lovely soundstage and seperation across different instruments. There is definitely some of the richness or warmth of sound, not quite to a full tube amp level but definitely there, in a nice way, and influencing the sound. There is definitely also that solid state control, but of a really good solid state amp. For example, drums sound incredible. Play some early Black Sabbath and crank it a bit, and Bill Ward's drums sound like they're coming after you. The biggest tell for me though is I cannot stop using it, I'm always looking for something else to play, to "try out the sound". It has that toe tapping quality that constantly draws you into the music, and I'm constantly hearing little things I had not heard, or at least not has noticed, before. Love this amp!”

“Just auditioned this compared to a McIntosh MA352 using Klipshc Forte iV which i very familiar with. Was very surprised that the PL 300 sounded far better to me than the MC MA352. More bottom end, and very much more spaciousness and soundstage as others have said. An A/B comparison like this is always useful. in this case it was very clear. While the MA352 is a lovely looking behemoth, the Primaluna sounded much much better.”

“When the new evo-300 Floyd hybrid amp was first hit the market my dealer called me and said you have to give this new hybrid amp a try.I quickly told him no thanks I had my share of hybrid amps in the pass and they always came up short in my listening experience.The dealer allowed me to take the amp home for a 2 week demo, I set up the amp and turned it on and when the amp powered up and came out of stand by I was shocked that with only a few minutes of playing this amp it was going to be great. I let the amp play though my tuner for a few hours and came back played some vinyl and the sound was unbelievable,bass tight and soundstage was wide and with pinpoint imaging. The more I play this amp the more I like it , I can't think of anything negative to say about this amp.Drives my Krell resolution 2 speakers with no problems whatsoever. It only took 3 days for me to call my dealer and ask him check or credit card how do you want to get paid. I still catch myself watching Kevin's videos and they are so spot on build quality second to none , excellent packing and nice metal remote control.”
