I'm very happy with my new EVO 300 Amps in monoblock configuration. As a former tube amp owner who got tired of the heat and other issues of tube amps but missed the sound quality, I'm glad I found the Prima Lunas. They don't run nearly as warm as my previous amps and have auto biasing and tube failure indicators, which makes the user friendly. Even at 85 watts per channel, they sound as powerful as my other amps that are rated at more than triple the power. Build quality is excellent and they sound fantastic. Kevin's videos were very helpful in my learning about Prima Luna and making my decision.

The sound of this amplifier is nothing short of stunning. It drives my vintage Infinity speaker with authority, and deep satisfying bass. I love the sound of the stock tubes. But found my perfect combination to be a pair of Gold Lions in the center position, and KT88 new production Mullards.

This is my first voyage into tube audio, and I am not disappointed! The EVO 300 is exactly what I was looking for. I've been using it mostly in triode mode since my Zu's are pretty efficient and it sounds fantastic. Kev is right, I'll never go back to solid-state... Time to save up for the DAC and pre.

Upgraded my Evo300 integrated to Evo400 pre and Evo300 power. Chose the Evo300 power amp over the 400 because I don't listen at high volumes, my PSB imagine T3 speakers are not crazy low impedance, and I didn't want the heat and tube rolling expense of the 400. (ok confession here if I do want to get crazy later I'm just going to buy another 300 power amp and monoblock them... heh heh...) Using the KT120 power tubes which give a bit more top and bottom end than the EL34s, and additionally, they have a very long life (per Uncle Kevvy) and I like to let this sucker warm up for several hours before listening.
