“The Evo 400 preamp provided synergy that my system needed now i have a full premaluna synergy images are more real recordings are able to be recorded louder because of the lower noise floor better than when I used my McIntosh c220 preamp my 502sp's sing beautifully as when I audition them at the costa Mesa show 2024 orange County California yap no phone stage. I believe I'll be satisfied with a Sutherland phone stage soon. Upscale Audio staff are the best. Leonard Blanton”

“I bought the new Marantz 10 reference amp and it sounds great and then after watching these videos I decided to try out the PL EVO 400 tube PA and WOW....what an amazing sound! The music really did come alive and sounds so much better and not even broken in yet. Only regret is that I should have got a bad a** tube amp years ago. Great folks at Upscale Audio! Cheers!”

“Fantastic product. Upgrade from a freya plus and wow what a difference. Freya plus is a great product but this evo 400 is a step or two or three ahead. Sound stage increased, holographicness is way more and it is not edgy and it’s silky smooth. Really look forward to getting home after a long day of work and just enjoying some music. Cannot recommend this preamp enough.”

“Prior to introducing the EVO 400 preamp into my system I was going straight from my source to Pass Labs XA60.8 monoblocks. I added the EVO 400 hoping to add some of the tube "magic" that was lost going from VAC tube amps to the Pass Labs set. I believe I accomplished that goal, but at a nuance level at best using my 76 year-old ears. Once we get the audio "disease," the dollars can best be justified by the sense of satisfaction generated by both ears and heart. I am happy. In a purely mechanical sense I am impressed with the build quality of the EVO 400.”
