“Well I haven't heard tubes or speakers "break in" in a while. Did again last week with the KT-120s in the Evo400. My KP-301As sound alive now. Fremer would characterize it as the sound "Blooming" and think I will too. My doubts that 85WPC could push them well are dead. My first real foray into true analog & I went whole hog! The toroidals I've experienced before. Resin Enclosed? AC Offset Killer? ++ Balanced inputs also. ++ The "Adaptive Auto Bias" sounds like the way they all should be! Excellent Construction! Retired the sub. Lotto would bring another for running monos. Klipsch Pro are different than Heritage. This amp can play subtle music quietly with both realism and warmth through them. Especially love how improved David Sanborn sounds now. It can also reach down the hill 300 yards with WAR, Sabbath/Dio, Albert King or the Tedeschi-Trucks Band. This is my last amp! Love It!!”

“I bought this amp to replace an old Sunfire Receiver. (Stepping into the world of separates)I originally purchased a Musical Fidelity M8s 500s rated at 500 wpc. The musical fidelity amp was loud and clean, but at the same time analytical and boring to my ears. I’ve always been skeptical of tube amps for many reasons, one being RMS watts per channel are much lower when compared to solid state amps, however I decided to try one out in my system, and I’m totally impressed. The PrimaLuna is louder and cleaner than the Musical Fidelity, and it’s warmer with a more engaging mid-range. The amp sounds beautiful at all volumes. The mid range and imaging are top notch. Plus, I love the glow of the tubes when listening to music and watching movies . I have this amp paired with Martin Logan Electrostats, and I’m very happy with the performance. I like that the amp can be switched to mono operation, at some point I will add a 2nd Evo400, but for now I’m enjoying the music……”
