Running both in mono block, the sound produced is epic, just getting into tube rolling.

Listening to the EVO 400 pair right now (purchased both the amp & pre, as well as an IsoTek EVO3 power conditioner), and 'transformational: barely scratches the surface in terms of how much more open and resolved my system sounds. I'm coming off Bryston gear (including a 4B3 amp and older BP-26 pre), and their stuff is pretty fine as well, but thus is something else entirely. No matter what I throw at it -- jazz, electronic / ambient, roots, classical, or rock & roll, the PrimaLunas just keep knocking out of the park. Sure, it takes a little more time & effort than solid state gear, but very well worth it. I'm hearing subtle nuances that we're previously hidden on CDs, and vinyl is a freaking religious experience. Now if only I had one of those cool Music Illuminated t-shirts, I could "walk it like 'ya talk it, or you'll lose that beat."
