“I purchased these stands from Upscale Audio after canceling an order from another dealer who failed to tell me they were not in stock and a delivery date was unknown. Great communication and service from UA! I have small but heavy Wharfedale Denton 80 speakers about 8 feet apart with my Rega P1 turntable in between. Easy to put together with the supplied tools. Even without any added ballast, sound is solid as rock with no discernable vibration whatsoever. Punchy, clear, detailed, all the usual descriptors . . . My one complaint is the small 7/8” cable holes made it very difficult to rout what I would describe as "medium duty" Canare 4S11 speaker cable with banana plugs. Using a fishline to each plug, I was able to finally do it. Unless you have completely separate left and right channel cables (no "Y" split at each end) or are using bare wire or very small plugs, I would be prepared for some effort to rout them through the stand. Otherwise a great stand at a good price.”
