“I didn't believe it until I replaced my power outlet and boy what a difference in sound clarity. My wife walked into the room and said "wow what did you do to the sound". Anyone who says a power outlet upgrade is snake oil has hearing loss from playing their music too loud and not critically listening.”

“My experience has been that hifi on a budget benefits incrementally with each piecemeal upgrade. Over time, I've purchased improved interconnects, power cords and power conditioners, each upgrade making a small positive diffference in sound quality. Even so, I felt skeptical that an outlet would make any difference at all, but, wow, was I wrong. Here's a case where a hundred bucks gave me a clearer, cleaner, more confident sound. The results were so pronounced on my modern system that I purchased one for a second, vintage system--same great results. Pro tip: these take awhile to burn in, apparently--both times, on day one, the sound seemed really smooth, but by day three it all seemed overly crisp. But after a week or so, everything settled into the "just right" cleaner, clearer sound I'm getting now. I dinged this outlet one star, as the purported grip isn't as strong as claimed--it still won't hold my Pangea AC9 power cord tight to the receptacle without support. Other than that, it's a great hifi bargain. A keeper!”

“I purchased two outlets - one for my hi-fi and another for my tv/soundbar. The outlets have a rock solid build quality. It was difficult for me to notice on the hi-fi where the improvement came from because I also added a dedicated 15 amp circuit at the same time > Dedicated 15 amp Circuit to the Pangea Audio: Premier XL AC Outlet Gold Plated Beryllium Copper - Green to a Transparent: Premium Power Cord which plugs into an AudioQuest Niagara 1200 for my Hi-Fi set-up.”

“Believe this is the best overall engineered/quality outlet for general-purpose audiophile applications. I also use AQ Edison's, Cardas 4181US Copper-plated Rhodium over Silver and Monsaudio Gold Plated Copper. Quality/materials/performance deliver everything promised.”

“Grips like a vise. Looks cool. I use AQ NRG Edisons for main power, then either Cardas 4181 US, Pangea XL or Monsaudio Golds for ancillary equipment like subs too far away from main power conditioners. Pangea is just right in price, construction and materials for those applications. Finally eliminated an annoying hum from a sub by plugging into it!”
