A well constructed, quality cable for an affordable cost. Being used to connect a DAC to Headphone amp.

These interconnects are a good value for the price. Tonal balance is on the warm side. Full bodied, fleshy juicy sounding with excellent bottom extension. The top end sounds silky smooth and detailed, but slightly rolled off in regards to top end details. the portrayed sound stage sounds wide and stereophonic imaging is really good. Where they do lack a bit is the depth perception and : dimensional layering of the soundstage, often associated with a holographic presentation. In that aspect they sound more forward facing, placing the soundstage closer to the front baffle of the speakers. In all fairness my comparison are based on my experience with the only other set of balanced interconnects I own, the Nordost Tyr, which also cost a lot more, and of course this my subjective opinion based on the sound I heard in my setup. Anyhow, where the Tyr portraits a much deeper and far more holographic soundstage than the Pangea SE interconnects, it sounds more treble focused and more lean, lacking a bit of the bottom bloom of the Pangea interconnects. At it‘s attractive price point I would recommend the Pangea SE interconnects to people with system setups that sound a bit bright and harsh, lack warmth and bottom extension, since the Pangea SE could help in those scenarios to add some warmth, body and soul. If your system is already sounding well rounded and full bodied with great low end extension, but lacks in the portrayal of a holographic soundstage and top end detail extension. then these interconnects won‘t help your cause.
