“The Pangea Premiere XL data and power isolation Y cable is the best USB I’ve used on a USB powered Meridian Hi-Res DAC. A DAC powered by a good 5v USB lithium battery bank and this cable has improved the sound of a budget $200 Meridian Explorer 2 to the level of a $1000 stand alone DAC, simply by isolating noisy USB power. Before the Pangea Premiere XL cable I had been using this similar hack with a USB printer Y auxiliary cable. It worked fine. But this Pangea XL cable works better. This cable has better OFC conductors and no ferrite beads. I found Ferrite beads can negatively affect SQ on a USB DAC cable.”

“This USB cable is something else. I use a 5v battery power bank to power mine, and that further enhances the overall sound quality. I have looked at similar USB cables from boutique sellers, and for the money, I honestly do not think you could go wrong with this Pangea cable. I could not get over the improvement in overall sound quality of this cable with a nice little 5v power supply, I think you will be very impressed. This was a worthwhile investment. And Chris, those Fyne speakers you sold me are still sounding FINE! Mike”
