“I only have a few hours with this Rega Planar 8 with the Ania Pro cart. I researched plenty of tables before placing a call to Upscale. After talking about what I've looked at, the extremely helpful salesperson suggested this combo along with the Sutherland KC Junior phono pre-amp and some pretty nice Audioquest Red River rca cables. Just for fun, I hooked up the new phono pre and rca cables to my 1978 Dual 721/Ortotfon OM20 cart. Wow! Big improvement over my $200 iFi Zen phono and no-name cables, as expected. The separation, the bass; instantly noticeable. However, when I swapped in the Rega 8, the improvement was there after a fair amount of A/B testing but definitely not night and day. Does the Ania Pro need more break in? is the rest of my system (Buchardt i150 integrated and Buchardt S400II speakers) not resolving enough? I don't know. i bought this combo as kind of an end-game piece so as I upgrade other hardware, this table will not be the weakest link. Its just not rocking my world today.”

“Huge upgrade from Rega P6. Professionally set up by Upscale analog department, paired with Project tube ds2 also bought from Upscale Audio. I can't ask for more. Highly recommended turntable. Team at Upscale audio always amazing.”
