“The blemish was minor (I had to look for it) the build quality is fantastic. I recently bought a used Primaluna Prologue 3 and was so impressed I had to try a tube amp. After selling my Krell S300 integrated I bought the Prologue 4. I was pleasantly surprised that they ran my NHT 2.9s wonderfully. The bass hits hard with depth and detail. The mids and highs smoothed out after a few days. Imaging and soundstage are superior to the Krell it replaced. The bottom line is that I wish I were properly exposed to tube amplification sooner. I worked at Sound Advice for years and did try a Conrad Johnson PV10 preamp which I really liked but we didn’t stock their tube amps. Any concerns that 35 watts isn’t enough? Put your mind at ease. Love it.”
