“This turntable is impressive. Came from a Project RPM and a Project Evo before that. No comparison. The quality of the TT and the weight makes a huge difference. Ended up going with a Sumiko Songbird LO cart and also upgraded the junction box to XLR outputs to at match with my balanced phono stage. It truly sounded amazing when I first hooked it up. The bass was MUCH more pronounced and felt but not boomy. The soundstage was also much wider and cleaner sonically. Sean Paul did a great job setting it up for me so when I got it at home the setup was extremely easy. I highly recommend the service Upscale offers for setup. You’d be a fool not to take it. They check everything for you to make sure the TT works adequately. Overall a great experience with Upscale and I listen to vinyl so much more now. Highly recommend this model out of VPI’s offerings.
