Remove the vail in front of your soundstage and get this amazing iconic deal from our favorite Uncle Not sure how he scores such great deals. Coupled by an amazing staff that is always on point to whatever your needs are. I’ve debuted, reviewed And concluded opinions on quite an array of turntable in my Audio Business. This turntable is not for the novice but instructions and online videos will guide you to an initial set up that will put you in the zone. You can take it to any level you want and to any taste you like. A Swiss army array of adjustability and solid isolation from the adjustable damped feet. The clouds are the limit on how much there is out there for the most of picky tweak nuts like me to choose from. It is a dream of an audiophile grade turntable. From top to bottom. This is the first turntable I’ve reviewed where VTA on the fly is just a sweet icing on the designer cupcake $$$ and you can actually clearly hear the effect of a well designed mechanism on an incredible all around beauty. The turntable disappears entirely from the listening area to give you a clear path to audio nirvana. No compromise ! Xavier Burgos “Capt. Analog” Analog reviewer, setup and consultant for Audioholics

It was not that hard to set up due to the well done video that came with it. The weight of the sub platter is really heavy so I had to brace my wall mount rack. It’s very quite and smooth. Very impressed so far

My VPI Super Prime Scout is a very attractive unit, and seems to be well made. When I got my unit, the cueing lever did not work correctly and Upscale Audio sent me another cueing lever. It works better, but I and still not sure it works as it should. Sometimes it will drop nice and slow to the platter, other times it will almost come to a stop and then will very slowly lower to the platter, it does not do the same action every time. I am hoping this will bet better with time, but If I was buying a new turntable today, I might buy some other turntable.

I picked up the Super Prime Scout in a package deal with an ADS. I mailed my Hana SL cart to the shop, so Kat could work her mojo and get things dialed in just right. This price is a steal if you consider the cost of the upgrades. The platter, VTA base and classic 2 arm are significant improvements over the regular Prime Scout. Those 3 upgrades retail for $3200 alone. You do the math. This table absolutely blows away my mid-tier Pro-ject that it replaces (as expected). I finally have a table that can hang with the rest of my gear (McIntosh amp/pre, vintage JBL drivers, etc.). I have silent operation from the table and motor. No junk in the signal path at all. Just solid playback, very low noise floor, and detailed dynamic sound. VTA on-the-fly is wonderful and I can’t imagine living without it at this point. My only nitpicks would apply to any unipivot VPI arm. The counterweight does not make fine tuning for VTF or azimuth as easy as one would like. Outer edge warps are not kind to an otherwise stellar tracking system. The outer ring weight/clamp would fix this. Neither of these are deal breakers, but still worth noting. The bottom line is that this is an incredible deal for a great sounding and superbly performing table. I would think it difficult to find something of this caliber at a similar price point elsewhere.

After a 30 plus year break from records i decided to jump back into analog .Ilooked at all kinds of tables and found this to be the best bang for my buck and couldn't be happier . Love my new VPI and all the add-on goodies y'all put on it . I haven't listened to a cd or streamer since i got going and all dialed in with vinyl. Ill never go back ,Thanks upscale for great service and this great package .TWO THUMBS UP AND TWIST FOR VPI AND UPSCALE.

Terrific turntable! Excellent value and performance for the money! Mine arrived in perfect condition and setup was very straightforward. It should be noted that I've done many turntable setups, but even if one was new to this, it can be done to a high level of accuracy if you don't rush through it. This table definitely offers performance greater than the sum of its parts. The arm/ base and platter are worth almost the asking price... I was up and running in about 40 minutes. Currently running an Ortofon 2m Black. Table has stable, accurate speed and throws a deep, wide soundstage. You really couldn't ask for or expect higher performance for this price. Highly recommended!
