“Unfortunately. The first turntable I received had a noticeable hum (or rumble--I'm not sure if it was motor vibration or electronic). Sean-Paul at Upscale Audio worked with me to troubleshoot, but eventually I had to return it. UA was great about the return, offering to swap it out instead of asking me to wait for the distributor to make a repair. They didn't have another satin black in stock, but they offered gloss black, and it looks great. The replacement sounds fantastic. The Sumiko Moonstone is very nice. Vocals sound particularly good, and the detail is excellent. Overall, I'm very satisfied, but I can only give 4 stars because of the problem with the first unit. If I could rate Upscale Audio's service alone, they'd get all five stars.”
