“I think overall that Ortofon Cartridges are of great quality. Don't hear much difference between my Ortofon Red and Blue. Is there a huge difference if I purchase Ortofon Quintet Black?”

“The Ortofon Quintet Blue is over all amazing. It produces a warm, detailed and robust musical sound. I can tell it's tracking every groove of the records and extracting every bit of information. I'm still blown away every time I listen to my records. I'm now a big Ortofon fan. I highly recommend this cartridge.”

“I have a certain $budget to replace my MM cartridge that came with my MoFi TT, which by the way was a good one, too. I came across the Ortofon Quintet Blue. I was impressed to read the engineering and description. After talking to Pete from Upscale Audio I was more confident I am making the sound decision to buy it. What a better way to Christen my new Ortofon by playing Norah Jones "I Don't Know Why". I was blown away how robust, detailed and warm the sound is. The highs do not shrill-- instead, they sound compose but not boring. I can definitely decipher each instruments that before, sounded they were together as one. The bass is tight and not bloated. The timber seems to hold longer and I could hear more nuances. This is just an excellent cartridge for it's $value and over all performance. Thank you Pete and thank you Upscale Audio. Ortofon has just earned a new customer for life!”
