“I recently had to replace my 10 year old Esoteric,XO1 Limited SACD/CD player.A couple of weeks after it was sent to Southern Cal. to be fixed,I was informed it would have to be sent to Japan for $1,500.00-$2,000.00 just for starters (S&H/plus Insurance).Not only was the part(s) overseas,the device used to fix it was too!Initially I got a good deal for a two year old XO1 Limited SACD/CD.Needless to say,it was time to cut my losses and go in a much less expensive route. What a blessing the Rotel RCD-1572 is!I thought I would be spending much too much on an older Esoteric.As it turned out the fellas at Overture Audio since 1993 in Wil.,Del. took care of me!”
