“The stock tubes that came with the preamp were harsh on the high end. The Radiotechnique tubes are more balanced. I have no other frame of reference since this is my first roll.”

“I used this tube in the gain stage of my Dialogue Premium. After 10 hours I noticed instruments that had a blaring sound quality had become smoother sounding. Before installing these 2 tubes I used the filters on my Chord Quetest DAC or changed to triode mode on the Dialogue Premium to remove the blare. I'm a happy camper. But, if your ears can tolerate some blare in pursuit of reproduction accuracy, there are other choices. One last point, when I first installed these tubes I thought they sounded terrible. So if you're going to take the leap, give them some time before you decide if they provide an improvement.”
