This sub added the definition, stage presence and deep sharp bass that I was looking for. Couldn't be more happy would highly recommend (used in a Large Room).

Shockingly good. I won't even say "for its size". It's just shockingly good. Fast, tight, low and loud (if desired). Small footprint is greatly appreciated. Volume is barely at 9:00 on the dial and that's plenty. Very easy integration with mains after break-in. Easy-ish connection, though I do wish for something other than bare stripped wire for amp end on the supplied Neutrik connection. Small quibble. I'm shocked. Did I say that already? My last sub was a Bag End Infrasub. 18" sealed. Would certainly peel paint, but the REL makes that sound like a cheap HT sub one would get at a big box store - way too big, sluggish and boomy by comparison. Inexpensive? Not really.... But that's relative. If the rest of your system is at a similar (relative) price point, this is a no-brainer. I find that the cost-to-value ratio is off the charts good. Very highly recommend. Will add another when funds allow.... And maybe sooner lol.

Absolutely stunning, and the ability to use it for both music and LFE without changing settings is amazing.

Have a very good setup with Focal 1008be bookshelves running off of tube amplification. Only issue was I was missing the lower octave. Added the REL S/510 using the high level input so I could capture the sonic signature of my amplifier. I was able to fine tune the phase, crossover, and volume for a seamless match for a full range sound. Thinking of adding a second, identical sub to further complement the integration.
