I had been running both my Rega RP10/Alpheta 3 MC and my Pro-Ject Xtension 9/Sumiko Blackbird HO MC through my Rega Aria Phono Pre and wanted more adjustability in order to better match the volume levels. I was able to find a Pro-Ject Tube Box DS2 locally and installed it hoping to resolve my issue. The DS2's adjustability did resolve the volume matching issue but even after extended break in I was not totally pleased with the sound. I remembered the positive effect of power supplies from my Naim Olive days. After viewing Upscale's info on Sbooster I purchased a BOTW P&P MarkII Power Supply and Ultra MarkII Upgrade. Wow what a difference! Hearing is truly believing. What can I say, everything just came into focus. Highly recommended where applicable! The only problem I had is that the Compatibility List / DC Tip Overview is incorrect. Thank you Bill Rudolph for setting it straight! Upscale has a vary satisfied new customer.

I'm using this with a Musical Fidelity V90 DAC.I was using a $70 linear supply from China that provided a nice upgrade. But the mark II crushed it.The sound improvements were not subtle at all and massive. It's extremely well made and has impressive heft to it.I'm certain I would have to spend 2K or more to improve on this combo.I only have a few hours on this and wonder if this could possibly be any better with brake in.It's really like another component like your amp, pre, dac, turntable etc. I own 5 turntables that are all hooked up and running. My DAC,mark II combo listening in 24 bit now approaches turntable like sound quality. Very close now.Now I'm wondering if I should buy one for my Musical Fidelity Phono Preamp?

I almost did not buy one — Upscale Audio looked up an outdated compatibility list which did not list the BB (it only showed the original Brooklyn DAC and the DAC+ — a newer list on the SBOOSTER website listed the Brooklyn Bridge) — once I saw that I got one to demo — which I quickly bought. This linear power supply took my Mytek to the next level! Bass definition, music pacing, smoothness, impact — all enhanced by the SBOOSTER MK II. The compatibility list showed 12 volt and 13 volt switch settings work — I found in my system 12 volt sounded better.

I used this with a Music Fidelity Mx Dac and feel like there was a noticeable level of improvement on noise reduction. The noise floor was reduced allowing more transparency and air around instruments. It's worth trying. I would recommend for mid-level and up systems.
