Just added this to power my Chord Qutest.. Did not ab the Sbooster/upgraded cable to the wallwart yet. I already sleep better knowing the wallwart is not bleeding back into the rest of my electrical. Great job getting it delivered in 26. The Ultra Cable draws 1/2 a volt so I used the 5.5 volt setting. I used a Pangea power cable. I’ll ab the new setup against the wallwart with friends by early Summer.

I purchased the 5-6V Ultra for the Sbooster. It is to power the Chord Qutest. Included with the Ultra is a paper that has the instructions. I had plugged it in and was listening on headphones. There seemed to be a very slight improvement in dynamics but there seemed to be a bit of dryness to the sound. I contacted Sbooster via email and they responded within an hour from Bulgaria. They said that the Ultra requires/uses 1V of power and that I needed to increase the voltage of the Sbooster to 6V while using the Ultra. I checked the output voltage with a volt meter before reconnecting the power supply to the Qutest. The output voltage was a constant 5.3V with the Sbooster set at 6V and the Ultra connnected to it. I then listened again to the same music as before. Dynamics were greatly improved. Soundstage had improved. Separation had improved. Details improved considerably. A quieter background came into play. I am not sure yet, but I don’t think there is any change in bass response. To sum this up, it actually sounds like there is an upgraded DAC in the system! I am very surprised that there is this kind of improvement! The Ultra is a no brainer and is the best $100 I have spent in my system.
