“My Cary SLI-80 blew the AC fuse. The manual said to check the rectifier tubes. The last time I replaced the rectifier tubes was about 12 years ago so I figure mine were bad. I got the new tubes from Upscale Audio and everything is working fine now. They look beautiful and I am hoping they will last as long as the set I got before.”

“This Russian 5U4G rectifier works wonders in my ModWright PS9.0 power supply, superior to the stock Sovtek 5AR4 in every way. Used with the MW/Marantz SA8005 Truth Mod it provides gentle and spacious clarity, wide-open dynamics and purity of tone that bowled me over. Forget the rip-off phony NOS Mullards floating around — Uncle Kev's practically giving this tube away. I'm ordering another before he raises the price. But beware, for use in the PS9.0, you'll need the circular cutout in the unit's cover to accommodate this towering triumph.”
