“This is my first moving coil cartridge. All the reviews are spot on! I noticed a change at the 9 t0 10 hour mark. Because it is an elliptical diamond, it does smooth out the vocals compared to the micro line stylus I had been using. There has been an adjustment period for me with this cartridge. Going to a moving coil has UPPED my listening experience. It's true what they say, there is more air, more micro/macro detail in the music; keep in mind, this depends on your pressings. If you have bad albums/pressings this cartridge will let you know very quickly! Overall, I'm very happy with my choice and as usual, the device at Upscale Audio is too notch. For those interested, this cartridge is mounted on a Rega RB301 arm with Soundsmith aluminum headshell screws (2.1 grans) and an Expressimo brass counter weight (130 grams) set to 1.9 grams. This sounds FANTASTIC! Thank you.”
