“Bought one of these along with a Pope and Tungsgram to replace the line tube in my ARC SP-9. It had become dull with Electro Harmonic tubes. All three of these tubes were an improvement but the Siemens just gave the best air, bass, dynamics, and liquidity. Brought this preamp back to life!”

“I bought this tube to replace the noisy JJ E88CC's in my Dodd battery-powered pre amp and phono stage. The JJ's also had such poor bass that I thought I needed a sub. As soon as I put in these 7308's I was blown away. All of a sudden I have beautiful, deep, smooth and distortion-free bass! Mids are smooth and highs are clear and clean. Soundstage and separation are very good. I also compared this tube to the Philips PCC88 which is very similar. The 7308 was warmer and the highs were perhaps a tad brighter. Still not what I would describe as 'sparkling' but very pretty, nevertheless. This tube is quiet as a tomb. The Siemens 7308 is an excellent tube at this price point.”
